Unlike others who attended the Preakness, I do not have video of the infield to share. At some point I realized I was too old to risk bodily harm, and would rather sit in a nice chair in the grandstand and drink sangria while watching the races. Thanks to a generous gift from the Maryland Jockey Club I had a couple tickets and valet parking provided free of charge. (Of course it was paid for with years of horrible betting at Laurel Park.)
That being said, I couldn’t resist sharing a set of pictures from the Baltimore Sun.
I think this simple proves my last post was correct. We don’t need to cut down on this behavior. We need to encourage it. To put it bluntly, people this stupid deserve to have stuff like this happen to them. Also, this guy needs new friends.
